A MegaEdu tem o orgulho de anunciar uma parceria com a Turn.io para lançar um novo chatbot via WhatsApp que visa auxiliar diretores de escolas públicas a identificar e permitir melhorias de conectividade da internet em suas instituições.
O piloto tem como objetivo validar o uso do chatbot em conjunto com a orientação das secretarias de educação. A expectativa é que a quantidade de escolas com velocidade adequada de internet aumente nas cidades apoiadas pelo programa.

A solução busca engajar diretores de escola e corpo técnico das secretarias, oferecendo diagnósticos rápidos e planos de ação, e facilitando o acesso às informações relevantes. Se bem-sucedido, o chatbot tem o potencial de ser uma solução escalável, contribuindo para a universalização da internet de qualidade nas escolas brasileiras. O chatbot oferece funcionalidades como verificar se a velocidade de internet da escola é adequada, instruções para instalação do medidor Educação Conectada, que verifica a velocidade do sinal de internet que a escola possui, e sugestões de planos e provedores de internet disponíveis na região com pacotes compatíveis com as necessidades da escola.
O teste inicial será realizado com escolas da região do Rio de Janeiro, e conversas estão em andamento para expandir a iniciativa para outras regiões. Nesse primeiro momento, cerca de 100 mil estudantes podem ser beneficiados.

MegaEdu Launches a Whatsapp Chatbot to Help Advance Public Education in Brazil
MegaEdu, a leading educational non-profit organisation, is proud to announce a partnership with Turn.io to launch a new WhatsApp chatbot that aims to improve internet connectivity in public schools across Brazil. The pilot program aims to use a chatbot chatbot to provide guidance from the education secretariats, to increase the number of schools with adequate internet connectivity.

The chatbot will support school directors and technicians, offering quick diagnoses and action plans, and facilitating access to relevant information. If successful, the chatbot has the potential to be a scalable, effective solution for the universalization of quality internet in Brazilian schools. The chatbot offers features such as checking whether the school's internet speed is adequate, instructions for installing the Educação Conectada meter which verifies the quality of the internet signal that the school has, and suggestions for plans and internet providers available in the region with packages compatible with the school's needs.
The initial test will be carried out with schools in the Rio de Janeiro region, and MegaEdu will negotiate expanding the initiative into other regions of the country based upon these results. The first pilot itself is set to impact around 100,000 students.
