Social impact organizations working in the LATAM region who want to use chat to scale their impact are invited to sign up for the Chat for Impact Regional Bootcamp: LATAM.
Hosted by Turn.io in partnership with WhatsApp, the Regional Bootcamp for LATAM is part of the broader Chat for Impact 2022 programme that includes 10 bootcamps and culminates in the Chat for Impact Accelerator and Summit. Participants in the Chat for Impact Bootcamp: LATAM also stand a chance of being selected to join the Chat for Impact Accelerator to receive financial assistance of $25 000, additional support and mentorship.
The 90-minute Chat for Impact Bootcamp: LATAM takes place online on 27th July at 9h00 Bogotá / 11h00 São Paulo. It will run in Spanish with Portuguese live captions and translations.
Attendance is free and open to social change organizations including INGOs, non-profit organizations and social enterprises based in LATAM, working across impact sectors such as education, health, crisis response, climate and sustainability, humanitarian response and more.
The intensive session starts with an understanding of WhatsApp's ecosystem and focuses on the Business Platform, which has been designed for medium and large organizations that want to communicate with thousands of users simultaneously.
The stimulating and informative programme includes:
Learning how to set up a WhatsApp line for social impact organizations.
Learning best practices of content management, service design and marketing plans.
Hearing key learnings from social impact organizations that already have a WhatsApp chat service.
Understanding key product features.
Gaining access to an offer worth USD 2500, including a free Turn.io license for three months, free conversations, onboarding support and training.
The Chat for Impact Regional Bootcamp: LATAM is part of a commitment by Turn.io and WhatsApp to help organizations globally build a chat service (also called a chatbot) on the WhatsApp Business Platform as a way of generating increased social impact at scale.
Through this collaboration, Turn.io is currently working with more than 150 organizations in around 30 countries, including the just-launched United Nations’ ActNow chat service, which is part of the UN’s campaign for individual action on climate change and sustainability.
